In 1932, the Battalion provided its first Guard of Honour for the Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
The
Battalion has provided a Guard of Honour for the Lord High Commissioner on an
annual basis since 1953.
Companies
in the Battalion and Battalions in Scotland are invited each year to nominate
young people to take part in the guard.
